You might want to know...
I have lived a full life: with degrees in Pure Science and N.T. Theology, I also have a Doctorate in Ministry in Story, Journey and Encounter.
I am a Christian pastor and visual artist, with a life-long passion for sharing the wonders of the created world. Having given workshop/performances in over 20 countries, I have contributed to Science Festivals in San Francisco, Copenhagen, Boston, Glasgow, Aberdeen, the Outer Hebrides, Moray and Caithness, Newcastle, Birmingham, Orkney and many more.
I continue to make and teach soap bubble art to all ages in a variety of settings.
I joined the British Origami Society in 1968,
co- founded the International String Figures Association(www.isfa.org)1978
and am a founder member of the International Guild of Knot Tyrtes (www.igkt.net) 1982
I have been actively studying soap bubbles for over forty years.
In 2014 as a result of my string figures studies, I was invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute in London.
More recently I have been invited to contribute as a speaker and demonstrator at International String Game Conferences releted to Uniuversity Departments of Anthropology in Paris, London, Australia, and Switzerland.
I am a member of the Scottish Artist's Union, and have Enhanced Disclosure certification for work with vulnerable groups.
